Bringing Live Virtual Travel to Stanford’s CME Live 2021

Livestream tours are an excellent immersive tool to enhance your continuing education program and experiential education for the classroom. Hop A Tour’s interactive live-stream virtual tours provide enriching education by exploring new locations and cultures in real-time. The experiences are always genuine, original, and unfiltered, communicating a true sense of the local atmosphere.
Some of our latest tours took place at Stanford’s CME Live 2021. The goal of this conference is to “transform health care through innovative education” (Stanford Center for Continuing Medical Education). At Hop A Tour, we creates immersive experiences that keep participants and students engaged, and bring a global experience back to the classroom.
At Stanford’s CME Live 2021 conference, Hop A Tour combined local medical history through the ages with livestream tours to enhance the experiential education of participants. Tours in Venice, Amsterdam, and Budapest were all live-streamed during the conference. Participants were able to interact with the expert guides in real-time through chat or microphone while enjoying the visual detail provided with the full-HD streaming quality. By bridging people across the globe, participants were able to foster understanding of new cultures and make new personal connections. Participants were able to speak to the local guide while exploring together the city and culture. This personal interaction and local context can be used in practice to better understand and communicate with patients from all over the world.
