Professional Tour Guide

New York City is a city of immigrants. 66% of the 8.6 million people who call the Big Apple home were born somewhere else. I am of those people. I grew up in Alabama, and moved to NYC in 1997 to pursue a career in theatre, receiving my Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Brooklyn College. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with this glorious metropolis, and I began to explore the city on foot and subway in my free time. I also started reading voraciously about the city's history and watching documentary films about New York. All of this study was out of genuine curiosity about the city, never with the idea of eventually becoming a tour guide. But I had been bitten by the Big Apple bug and, well, the rest is history!
