Join me in the “City of 100 spires” on this interactive live virtual tour at the heart of historic Prague. You’ll be able to ask me questions and chat with fellow participants on this livestream walking tour packed with rich history, majestic architecture, insider tips, and captivating views of the city’s highlights. The seat of kings and caesars of the Holy Roman Empire for ages, Prague Castle is now the a seat of the Czech president. At this historic compound, we’ll see the stunning sites of St. Vitus Cathedral (gothic, 14th century), Old Royal Palace, and the Great Entrance Gate. Passing the ornate aristocratic palaces, we’ll enjoy fabulous city views as we make our way to the Lesser Town. This charming district is filled with monuments, gothic churches and magical hidden corners. The largest masterpiece of the Baroque period, we will admire St. Nicholas Church and enjoy the local narrow streets leading us to the impressive John Lennon Wall full of political graffiti. We finish the tour by taking in the unique atmosphere of Kampa Island, the homeplace of local artists, and arriving to the iconic Charles Bridge (14th century) that boasts 30 statues adorning its sides. From here we’ll take a moment to enjoy the postcard-perfect views of both banks of the Vltava River. I look forward to sharing our culture, traditions, and some surprises with you as we explore charming Prague together on our interactive tour. I will be happy for you to fill in your interests at booking so I can be sure to cover what you most enjoy! Pojďme – let’s go!
