I am Francesco, and I will take you through Bologna’s famous Quadrilatero Food District on an interactive livestream culinary tour. A mark of pride, Bologna is known in Italy as “The Fat” (La Grassa) for our rich gastronomic culture and high food standards.On our food walk through the narrow medieval streets and alleys of the open-air market, we’ll get to explore the fantastic shops, meet skilled artisans, and discover the rich and traditional foods that earned Bologna it’s nickname! At each stop, I will explain the food making process and what sets the different varieties apart: the distinctions of Parmigiano Reggiano; mortadella and pink salami; specialty pasta; traditional balsamic vinegar from Modena, and much more!Also a wine expert, I will be happy to answer all your food and beverage questions as I share this beautiful city with you on our livestream walking tour.
